	1 - Introduction
	----------------

Banner Clicker is a mIRC/TCL script allowing you to generate false
hits at your banner provider or toplist. The result of Banner Clicker
is that the script "visits" your web page and "clicks" on your
banner. What the script actually does however is different.

It opens a connection to your banner provider's web page and requests
your banner's image. While requesting this, it tells the provider
that it was referred by your web page. It then closes that connection
and pauses 10 seconds. This is to give the feeling that you just
loaded the page and didn't notice the banner yet. After 10 seconds it
opens up a new connection to the banner provider requesting the link
that clicking on the banner brings you to. Again, it tells the banner
provider that it came from the web page you signed up for, and not
using a trick method like a hidden frame, etc. The banner provider
then thinks you actually went to your homepage and clicked your
	banner.

Note: You must uninstall any previous version of Banner Clicker to
proceed with the installation. To uninstall the script, please
	      follow these instructions. Press "Alt-R", "Alt-V", "BC.mrc",
"Alt-F" and "Unload". To load the script type:

	      "/load -rs C:\<path to script>\BC.mrc"

mIRC 5.3 (and above) is required in order to have Banner
Clicker successfully installed. The newest version of mIRC is
	      avaliable at: http://www.mirc.co.uk

	2 - Usage
	---------

Note: The "!click" command is for using in #Banner, to have everyone
click your banner. To have it clicked locally, use "/click".

	Usage: !click <banner host> <image url> <link url> <page to be refered from> [<post> <post info>] [unique]
	Example: !click www.sponsor.com /cgi-bin/image.cgi?username /cgi-bin/click.cgi?username http://www.yoursite.com unique

	<banner host>:
	- The server where both the image and HTML are requested from.
	- Only include root site name with no "http://" or "/" at the end.
	- To get this, right click on your banner in Netscape, select "Copy
Link Location", and paste the code somewhere.
	- Example: www.sponsor.com

	<image url>:
	- The picture that requested to display your banner.
	- Only include path to image, not the site name.
	- To get this, right click on your banner in Netscape, select "Copy
Image Location", and user everything after "http://www.sitename.com".
	- Example: /images/banner.jpg

	<link url>:
	- The link that is requested when someone clicks your banner.
	- Only include path to link, not the site name.
	- To get this, right click on your banner in Netscape, select "Copy
Link Location", and use everything after "http://www.sitename.com".
	- Example: /cgi-bin/click.cgi?username

	<page to be refered from>:
	- Your web page, or whatever page you want the ad server to think
someone just visited, saw your banner, and clicked on it from. This
is used to trick the server into thinking that the someone actually
went to your page instead of using a script.
	- Give your full URL.
	- Example: http://www.yoursite.com/page.html

	<post>:
	- If your banner uses a form or hidden form, enter in post and fill
out the next item. If it doesn't, forget this command and the next
	  one.

	<post info>:
	- The options that goes through when you click on the banner. Here is
	  a example: "user=username&sponsor=profile1&banner.x=126&banner.y=37"
	- The first few options should be obvious. The last two are the "x"
and "y" values for where you clicked on the image map.
	- Please contact us if you need more guidance regarding this subject.

	[unique]:
	- If you specify this, your banner will only be clicked once per
person per IP. Your "!click" information is stored on a file
located in the person's computer, and cleared out each time they
get a new IP. If your information is in the file and you specify
this option, your banner will not be clicked.

	3 - FAQ
	-------

	Q: What is OnceAnIP?
A: OnceAnIP is an alias that is runned every time you get a new IP.
This alias clicks on the banners that are stored in the auto-click
	   list.

Q: How do I get my banner into this auto-click list?
A: Auto-click has been discontinued (temporarily?).

Q: How often is the script updated, and how often is the auto-click
	   list updated?
A: The script really varies. Check in #Banner for information
regarding that subject. The auto-click list is updated every time
you connect to IRC (20 seconds after connect).

	   isn't being accepted.
